This month our featured recipe is Garlic Jalapeno Shrimp! Served over rice or pasta, this is sure to be a new weekly favorite! Simply Jam, Simply Enjoy! One taste of the following recipe and you’ll be hooked on Simply Jam!
Garlic Jalapeno Shrimp
½ to 1 cup of Garlic Jalapeno Simply Jam
2lbs of raw, deveined & peeled shrimp
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 cup chicken broth
¼ cup olive oil
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon parsley
In a large bowl, mix the fresh lime juice, olive oil, black pepper, sea salt, parsley and Garlic Jalapeno Simply Jam well.
Add in the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 mins-45 mins
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, place the shrimp mixture in a shallow baking dish
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque
Serve over rice or angel hair pasta, add cut up fresh tomatoes for a nice garnish!
Another variation of this recipe is to place the shrimp on skewers and grill to perfection! Simply Jam is Simply delicious!
